Pet sitting for cats in Thorney & Crowland

If your cat would rather stay with their own bed, bowls and familiar corners while you're away, I can help with visits at home. I'm Ellie, and I offer cat sitting through drop-in visits in Thorney and Crowland, as well as care for small pets. Tell me who's at home and what a normal day looks like for them.
Not every cat wants a cuddle from someone arriving at the door. Some will be ready for company straight away, and some would rather keep an eye on me from a distance. I can give them time while getting on with the practical jobs you've asked for. Their food, water and litter routine matters whether they're sociable or shy.
Food, water and the familiar routine
Please tell me which food your cat has, the amount you give and where everything is kept. I'll follow the feeding and water instructions we agree, check litter and talk through any other basic care they need. If you have more than one animal, make it clear which bowl or routine belongs to which pet. Those little distinctions help me do things the way you want.
For small pets, I'd like to hear about their everyday care and the supplies they need. Different animals aren't all cared for in the same way, so please don't feel you're giving me too much detail. Let me know what needs checking, how you normally do it and anything you'd want me to notice while you're away.
Planning holiday visits without guessing
If you're going on holiday, send me the dates and the visits you're hoping for before we confirm arrangements. My holiday pet sitting is based on agreed visits; this page isn't a promise of overnight or round-the-clock care. We can discuss the routine, access to your home and how you'll be contactable. I'll check availability with you rather than leave you assuming the dates are covered.
Medication is something to discuss before a booking. Please explain your pet's needs and the instructions involved so I can tell you whether I can help. I don't replace your vet or decide on treatment. If there's anything worrying you about your animal before you go away, include it in our conversation rather than leaving it as a surprise at the first visit.
The person coming to see your pets
I'm DBS checked, first aid trained and fully insured, and I have over 20 years of pet care experience. I also completed dog first aid and emergency canine care training. At home I've got Pea, Mouse and Isla, with Silver and Rupert keeping me busy too. I know leaving animals means trusting someone with all the ordinary jobs, not just the nice bits.
I offer dog walks and puppy visits as well, if different animals in your household need different kinds of help. Thorney and Crowland are both in my service area, so send your location with your enquiry. Doggy day care at Lodge Farm Dog Park is coming soon and separate from these home visits.
