4. Unforeseen Purchases
4.1 The client will be contacted prior to any additional purchases where possible.
4.2 If essential items (such as food or supplies required for the pet's health and wellbeing) must be purchased in the client's absence, the pet service provider will retain receipts and the client agrees to reimburse all costs upon return.
5. Updates and Client Information
5.1 Clients must inform the pet service provider of any changes to contact details, emergency contacts, veterinary information or care requirements. Accurate and up-to-date records are essential in case of emergency.
6. Privacy Policy

6.2 I handle personal information under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, as amended. My privacy policy explains how I use your details, retention and your rights.

7.1 All reasonable care will be taken to ensure the safety and wellbeing of pets in our care.

12.2 Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights. Services must be provided with reasonable care and skill.
13. Your consumer cancellation rights
Sending an enquiry through this website doesn't confirm a booking. Before you book, I'll confirm the service, price, arrangements and applicable cancellation information.
Where the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 give you a right to cancel a service booked at a distance, you have 14 days from entering the contract to cancel without giving a reason. Statutory rights take priority over the cancellation charges above. Exceptions may apply to particular services, so the cancellation information for your booking must explain any applicable exception.
To cancel, email elliepeaspaws@gmail.com or write to my contact address: Lodge Farm Dog Park, Crowland Rd, Thorney, Peterborough PE6 0PB. A clear statement is enough; you can use the form below if you wish.
If you want the service to start during a statutory cancellation period, I'll need your express request. If you cancel after it starts, you may have to pay a proportionate amount for the service supplied, where the legal conditions are met. The right is lost after full performance only where you've given the required express consent and acknowledgement. Any refund due under that right will be made within 14 days of being told about your cancellation.
