Dog walking in Eye, Peterborough

Four dogs sitting and standing together on a wooden hurdle in a green field

If you're in Eye and your dog needs a walk while you're busy elsewhere, I'm Ellie. I offer dog walking in Eye, Peterborough, with solo outings or a small group where the dogs suit each other. You might need help on the same days each week, or only now and then. Either way, a message with your location and your dog's routine is a good start.

I don't think every walk needs to look the same. Some dogs want to pause over every smell. Others have a bit more energy to use up. Tell me what a normal outing looks like for yours, and what you'd like help with. I'll take that into account when we talk about the right arrangement.

The little details I want to hear

You know your dog best. I'd like to know how they react when another dog comes close, whether traffic worries them and how you usually handle an awkward moment. It's helpful to hear what works, as well as what doesn't. Please mention any instructions about equipment, gates or getting in and out of your home, so those everyday jobs aren't left to guesswork.

I have Pea, Mouse and Isla at home, and living with different dogs reminds me not to make assumptions. Confidence, pace and wanting company aren't the same thing. A lively dog doesn't automatically want a group walk, and a quiet dog may still enjoy a compatible companion. We can discuss those differences before choosing between a solo and small group outing.

A walk you can catch up on

The walk is GPS-tracked, and I send photos and notes through the Pea's Paws app. That gives you something to look at while you're away and a way to hear how your dog got on. If there are changes in their routine or something you want watched, let me know beforehand. Your instructions help me make the update useful to you.

I'm first aid trained, DBS checked and fully insured, and I have over 20 years of pet care experience. I've completed dog first aid and emergency canine care training too. I care about the practical side: paying attention, taking instructions seriously and not rushing through a dog's needs just to move on to the next thing.

Help at home in Eye

If your puppy isn't ready for the kind of walk you're imagining, ask me about puppy visits. I can discuss toilet breaks, play and company that fit what you're doing at home. I also offer pet sitting and drop-ins, including feeding, fresh water, litter care and letting dogs out. Medication needs should be discussed with me before anything is agreed.

Eye is one of the areas I cover alongside Thorney, Crowland and the wider Peterborough area. Let me know your dates so I can check availability rather than promise a time I haven't looked at. Doggy day care at Lodge Farm Dog Park is coming soon; it isn't an available booking yet.
